Neko Entertainment and the French team of two Upperbyte Studio announced earlier today that their action platformer Wooden Sen’SeY has been released via the Steam store today at the price of $14.99 in an enhanced version with a brand new Time Attack mode.
The developers have described the game as being an action-platformer set in a “Japan Steam Rock” universe. You follow Goro, a village chief, as he seeks revenge through a variety of levels. He will defeat his enemies using his axes to slice, dice, squash and grapple in a 3D side-scrolling world. They have highlighted that this game is for fans of the hardcore old-school gameplay mechanics.
A Wii U verison is also on the way, although no release date has formally been confirmed.
