The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD – Game Review

While the Nintendo Gamecube may not have received as strong a reception as both its predecessor and successor, it had a fantastic line-up of games with only a handful being better than The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.

While it may not have enough content to entice all returning players to the seas once more (Especially considering the Gamecube doesn’t look too bad even on modern-day TV’s), The Wind Waker HD is a fantastic port of a game that all newcomers to the Zelda series should play their way through.

Classic / challenging dungeon designs, a large open-world environment and many of the usual goodies to find when coupled with the HD cel-shaded designs make this one of the best ports for the Wii U. Now if they were only to give the same treatment to Majora’s Mask…
