2014 is set to be a big year for international Tales series fans, with not only Tales of Xillia 2 set to hit store shelves but also Tales of Symphonia Chronicles on the Playstation 3, a HD compilation pack of the two former-Nintendo exclusive Tales games Tales of Symphonia and Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World.
While promotion has been slow internationally, in Japan with a nearing release date Namco Bandai have been more actively promoting it through character trailers / screenshots. The company recently launched the above three minute preview trailer that takes the focus off from each individual character and into both games as a whole. Overall there was only small snippets of gameplay, balanced by a heavy dosage of in-game cutscenes and animation.
Tales of Symphonia Chronicles is set for release in Japan on the 10th October 2013.
