Playstation 1 era J-RPG classics were some of the most memorable to me, and I was pretty ecstatic to hear that Disaster Cake were working on a new title by the name of Soul Saga which is set to bring some of the charm from that era not only on the PC but also the Wii U, Playstation 4 and the Playstation Vita.
After a 30 day campaign that ended today, the game amassed a total of $195,528 pledged from an original target of $60,000 which means a plethora of stretch goals have been unlocked for this release which ranged from voice acting, the inclusion on home video game consoles, a guild hall and job board all the way up to the final unlock tier “Atelier of Souls” which is a mysterious tower accessible in-game which seems to make use of either a randomly generated design or corridors that change as you play through them. Most of the stretch goals were goodies in-game, however it is a shame they didn’t reach the $250,000 “Twice the Game” target.
