Weiss Schwarz for those that are not aware – is a Japanese Trading Card Game from the company Bushiroad. Bushiroad has released a number of successful card series such as Weiss Schwarz, Cardfight Vanguard! and ChaosTCG with one of the main draws to their releases being that the cards are all based off different anime and game series…. resulting in a crossover of different series in one “Epic Card Battle”. With the upcoming release of their PSP game in November, Banpresto has released the trailer for the game, showing off some of the individual card series that shall be in the game.
Do note however, that despite characters from various series appearing in the trailer – none of them actually appear in the games storyline . Instead, the storyline of the series surrounds a normal high school life…. a couple of guys, many more girls and the all important romance between the two. Honestly, the only TCG portable game I have ever played was back in the day when Pokemon Trading Card Game was released for the Pokemon Colour…. so I am tempted to check this out to see how the portable experience for games like these have evolved.
