Madman Entertainment – October 2011 – Might Need Quite a Lot of Money for This Month

Madman Entertainment has just released their release schedule for October 2011. Whilst there is an average number of titles to be released – the fact is that a number of them are “Ultimate” Collectors Editions that will inevitably cost more then your normal sets of anime. Curious? Well here is what they plan on releasing:

Seven kids at summer camp are mysteriously transported to another reality, where they are befriended by a group of strange creatures who call themselves “Digimon,” Digital Monsters. The seven children are now dubbed as the DigiDestined, tasked with protecting the Digital World from evil Digimon like Devilmon. Can they save the Digital World and find a way back home?
Comment: If you want to see more Digimon anime releases from Madman Entertainment then you should consider buying this – as they have hinted on their Facebook page that how well Season One sells will determine if they will continue on with Season 2, Tamers etc. I personally say yay to more classic “Cheez TV” Anime!

For those playing Mr. Outside’s twisted game of conspiracy thrills, the end comes now.
Comment: As a big fan of the Eden of the East series, I would highly recommend going with the Blu-ray edition of this series.

The story takes place in Japan in the early 21st century, in an alternate reality where the Tokugawa Shogunate has remained in power. In this reality, student councils are tasked with oppressing schools. Yagyuu Muneakira is a high school student who rebels against his student council with the help of girls who’ve had the names of famous samurai heroes passed on to them.

and that is it folks, Madman’s title releases for October and wow…. a fair few collectors editions in the mix. Personally, I am interested in the second Eden of the East movie, Digimon, Samurai Girls and perhaps I might be willing to check out Fullmetal Alchemist in all its “Complete” Glory.
