Take That (In-Game) Snap Daily Photo is an off-shoot of the upcoming Take That (In-Game) Snap article series, which looks at, celebrates and critiques how video game developers have implemented professional photography-like systems into their games, how the systems handle, just how accessible they are and, where applicable, how a modding community might be making these tools even better. With this Daily Photo spin-off series, I will be sharing individual photos from the games either covered or soon-to-be-covered in the series.
Introduced in Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood in 2017, Kugane is arguably one of the most beautiful hub cities currently in the online game to date – with lots of high vantage points to take advantage of as you scour the city looking for that perfect shot. The city is particularly picturesque at night, as the city comes alight with lanterns and the lights of many grandiose yet traditional looking buildings.
Tomorrow will have a different game of focus, which will serve as the second title covered in the Take That (In-Game) Snap article series.
