10 Chambers, the studio behind the co-op horror shooter GTFO and the upcoming title Den of Wolves, has unveiled a new project that takes a different kind of risk. DO THE GAME is a forthcoming docu-reality television series offering an unfiltered look into the studio’s journey to develop what they hope will become the greatest heist game in history.
Premiered via a teaser trailer (to the left), DO THE GAME follows the real-life story of ten friends turned colleagues navigating the intense pressures of modern game development. Coming off their release of GTFO, the team finds themselves facing expectations and tight deadlines as they work on Den of Wolves. Despite securing major investment for the project, the demands of the industry and internal tensions threaten to derail both the game and the relationships that underpin the studio. The series aims to deliver a raw and honest portrayal of the emotional and logistical challenges that come with building a game from the ground up. Further details on the series’ release schedule and platforms are expected to follow.
Oscar J-T Holm, Co-Founder at 10 Chambers, commented on the motivations behind the series:
With our previous success of GTFO and now working on a major title like Den of Wolves, it might seem glamorous. However, growing a company while building a game can be incredibly stressful and create tension even between longtime friends. Through this docu-reality series, we aim to provide a brutally honest look behind the scenes of all this.
Meanwhile, studio founder Ulf Andersson was quite direct:
I hate making this documentary
