Artbook, comic and manga publisher UDON Entertainment has announced the future publication of The Street Fighter World Warrior Encyclopedia: World Tour Edition Hardcover, their latest artbook which sets out to comprehensively explore the world and characters of Street Fighter – not only past characters and chapters, but also those from the recently released Street Fighter 6. The book will be available in November 2024, with a Standard Edition and a UDON Store Exclusive Deluxe Edition.
The encyclopedia, spanning 224 pages, is presented in an oversized hardcover format. Written and researched by Matt Moylan, and illustrated by a team of artists from UDON, the book is officially approved by Capcom. It sets out to detail every Street Fighter character, including their origins, allies, enemies, motivations, and fighting styles, along with information about the settings, history, and lore of the Street Fighter universe. This World Tour Edition expands on previous editions with over 30 additional pages, updated profiles, and new profiles for characters like Kimberly, Luke, Akira, Marisa, Manon, and JP.
The Standard Edition Hardcover will be released in comic and book stores on November 5, 2024, and is available for pre-order from vendors starting in June, coming in at an MSRP of $49.99 USD or local equivalent.
The Deluxe Edition on the other hand comes in at $60.00 USD or local equivalent, and features all new cover art by Andrea Cofrancesco, a Metal Bison $100 collectible metal card (2.6 x 6.15″) and a Folded double-sided poster (unfolded size 33×23.5″) featuring a World Warrior Map on the A Side and Side A: World Warrior Map and Panzer on Side B.
