Hardcover Releases of Udon's Art of Capcom 1-3 Will Be Available in Coming Months 1

North American publisher of comics, manga and artbooks Udon Entertainment have a long-standing history with the intellectual property of video game developer Capcom. Only in the last couple of weeks have they confirmed hardcover releases of both Street Fighter: Swimsuit Special Collection and Breath of Fire: Official Complete Works. Following their now out-of-print duo of more inclusive Capcom artbook releases, Udon Entertainment has confirmed that work is underway on Udon’s Art of Capcom 3.

This hardcover artbook, coming it at over 300 pages in length, features artwork from some of Capcom’s iconic franchises including Street Fighter, Mega Man, Darkstalkers and more. Some of the types of artwork in the mix will be comic covers, video game endings, promotional art, costume designs, tribute art. The cover artwork is by Jeffrey ‘Chamba’ Cruz, featuring many recognisable characters to Capcom aficionados.

Coming in at USD 49.99, Udon’s Art of Capcom 3 will be available exclusively in its hardcover format from 29 September 2020 through select digital and physical artbook retailers. If you want to guarantee your copy, pre-orders are open via Amazon at a reduced price of USD 34.43.

One could argue that it would be a bit weird having the third volume on one’s shelf without the first two. As if looking to rectify this scenario, Udon Entertainment has also confirmed the first two volumes of Udon’s Art of Capcom will be re-released as hardcover editions. Udon’s Art of Capcom 1will be available on 28 July 2020, and Udon’s Art of Capcom 2 will be available on 25 August 2020. Across all three artbooks, you will be able to enjoy more than 900 pages of artwork from some of Capcom’s most iconic franchises.
