Aniplex of America to Release Complete Collection of Nisekoi in April 1

Consisting of both seasons (a total of 32 episodes) and four OVA episodes, Aniplex of America have today confirmed they will be offering a complete blu-ray collection of TV anime Nisekoei from 28 April 2020. Not the most affordable of anime releases with an SRP of $239.98 USD, this set comes with all episodes featuring the original Japanese dub w/ English subtitles and a small collection of bonus content.

While not a complete “Premium Edition” as we have seen from Aniplex of America in the past, Nisekoi’s complete set will come with special packaging featuring artwork from Nobuhiro Sugiyama (Character Design & Chief Animation Director) and a booklet containing visuals from various publications and events.

Nisekoi was first aired in 2014, with animation by the acclaimed studio SHAFT and direction by Akiyuki Shimbou. It is adapted from the original manga works of Naoshi Komi, which concluded after 25 volumes in 2016. In terms of the Japanese voice cast, it features Koki Uchiyama (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Yuri!!! on Ice) and Nao Toyama (Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai, Goblin Slayer) as Raku and Chitoge, along with Kana Hanazawa (Cells at Work!, Blue Exorcist), Mikako Komatsu (ALDNOAH.ZERO, Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs), Kana Asumi (Gurren Lagann, Angel Beats!), Yumi Uchiyama (The irregular at magic high school, Fate/Grand Order Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia), and Ayane Sakura (My Hero Academia, Promare). There is no English dub for Nisekoi.

About Nisekoi

10 years ago, Raku made a secret promise with a girl he met that they would get married when they reunite.
Since then, he never let go of the pendant she gave him …

Like any average high school student, Raku lives with family demands…
Unlike most teenagers, his family is made up of yakuza.

One day, a beautiful girl named Chitoge transfers into Raku’s class.
Their chemistry was more than off.
Not a moment went by without them fighting.
But, through a weird turn of events, Raku and Chitoge agree to become fake lovers.
Although his heart is really interested in his classmate Kosaki,
Raku must pretend to be Chitoge’s boyfriend.
What will happen to this false [NISE] love [KOI]?!
