Final Fantasy VII Remake's Theme Song Showcased in Newest Trailer 1

In only a couple of months now, the current-generation remake of the iconic 90s RPG Final Fantasy VII will be released exclusively for the PlayStation 4. Among the new additions to the game being introduced by Square Enix is a new theme song. Titled “Hollow”, this new theme is written by long-time Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu, and features vocals from the singer-songwriter from Japanese rock band “Survive Said The Prophet” – Yosh.

Coming in at almost four minutes in length, this video also provides one of the more extensive looks at the game to date – including the English dub, boss battles using the real-time battle system, and a few highlight scenes from the original game remade for the current generation. And yes, this includes Cloud looking adorable in that one section of the game… if you know what I mean~

If you want to hear more about the making of this song and video, check out the below behind-the-scenes video.

Arguably not surprising given their previous OST releases, Square Enix used this release to also confirm that the Final Fantasy VII Remake Original Soundtrack will be released in Japan and Western markets from mid-2020.

Final Fantasy VII Remake will be released exclusively on the PlayStation 4 from 10 April 2020.
