While it can go overboard at times, the spontaneous comedy and cuteness of Strawberry Marshmallow puts it safely in the territory of anime series such as Azumanga Daioh and Pani Poni Dash, and should appeal to anime fans who have enjoyed either of both of these titles. The visuals, voice acting and storyline set up the series to not be ambitious, but instead aims to provide a light-hearted watching experience. Unfortunately due to it not being available in English anymore, I am turning to Universal Sony Pictures Home Entertainment Australia to license the full series, as they recently did with Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan.
