Following its PC release a little while back, STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT is now available on all the major modern platforms including the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Alongside completely new visuals, the biggest addition is the ‘Gamma Worldline’ which is a story route not present in the original 2009 release of STEINS;GATE. Following a series of utterly brutal trials, Okabe ends up in a worldline where the time machine was never built and D-Mails (the messages that can alter the past) don’t exist at all.
Physical copies are available in a Standard Edition and a SteelBook Edition for the Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 (first print run copies come with a sticker). A Digital Deluxe Edition is also available for the Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5. The digital edition comes with the STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT VISUAL COLLECTION digital art book, the STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT Soundtrack, the footage from the STEINS;GATE 15th LIVE ONE WORLD live event (with English subtitles) and the game STEINS;GATE Octet of Shifting Space. Spike Chunsoft recommend checking your local store in each region for details on the digital edition.
In the UK and EU the physical editions will come a little later (3rd November 2026) whereas the digital editions are available now.
