Story Of Seasons: Grand Bazaar Arrives On PlayStation 5 And Xbox Series X|S This May

Marvelous Europe has announced that the farming and life simulation game Story Of Seasons: Grand Bazaar will be expanding to new platforms. The title is scheduled to launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles on 28 May 2026. These newly announced versions will include all the post-launch updates that were previously released for the PC, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2 iterations which launched on store shelves last year.

Serving as a modernised version of the originally handheld entry in the series, the game tasks players with reviving the once prominent market of Zephyr Town. Assuming the role of the town’s newest resident, players will engage in traditional series activities such as harvesting crops, raising animals, and crafting items. These goods are then sold at a customizable personal stall during the lively weekly bazaar. As the market’s profitability increases and buzz builds, new services and items become available to further upgrade the player’s farm.

This current release introduces several enhancements over the original portable console release. This includes an expansion of the game’s world and narrative while adding new characters and updated visuals. Notably, the game features full voice acting during story events, which marks a first for the long-running franchise.

Exploration and farming mechanics have also been updated to utilize Zephyr Town’s weather system. Players can process goods using windmills, travel across the map using a glider, and utilize new jumping abilities to explore the town and their farm. Outside of commerce, players can interact with magical Nature Sprites, build relationships with the local community, and eventually settle down to start a family.

STORY OF SEASONS: Grand Bazaar will be available in multiple digital tiers at launch, and previously released downloadable content will also be accessible on the new platforms from day one. The standard digital edition is priced at £44.99 / €49.99. A Digital Deluxe Edition, which adds the “Trunk of Transformation” cosmetic DLC, will cost £49.99 / €59.99. For £54.99 / €69.99, the Super Digital Deluxe Edition includes the aforementioned cosmetic DLC, a digital art book, and a digital soundtrack. All digital purchases will include a “Cow Set” cosmetic bonus. For physical collectors, a standard PlayStation 5 physical edition will also be available to pre-order soon.
