Pony Canyon has officially confirmed that the anime series Farming Life in Another World 2 is scheduled to premiere in April 2026. This announcement regarding the second season is accompanied by the release of a promotional video and a key visual that highlights the expanding roster of characters inhabiting the Great Tree Village.
Adapted from the light novel series by Naito Kinosuke, the story follows Hiraku. After passing away due to a long illness, Hiraku is reincarnated by gods into a new world and gifted with an all-powerful farming tool. The narrative focuses on his second chance at life as he builds a settlement, eventually known as Great Tree Village, and interacts with a diverse population including vampires, elves, and beastmen.
The upcoming season introduces several new characters as the village continues to develop. The newly announced voice cast includes:
- Natsu Yorita as Rashashi
- Misaki Watada as Igu
- Hiyori Kono as Mamu
- Mariko Higashiuchi as Gruwald
- Toru Sakurai as Gordon
- Genta Nakamura as Narf
- Kana Yuuki as Ronana
- Marie Hatanaka as Junea
The latest key visual depicts both returning characters from Season 1 alongside these new additions, specifically highlighting Rashashi, Igu, Mamu, and Gruwald.
Pony Canyon also released information regarding the musical themes for Season 2. The opening theme, titled “It’s a beautiful story,” will be performed by the characters Luu (voiced by Shino Shimoji) and Tier (voiced by Aya Suzaki), who are reprising their roles from the first season.
The ending theme is titled “Sunny Steps” and will be performed by artist Yui Hizuki. Previews of both tracks are available in the newly released promotional trailer.
The second season aims to continue the “slow-life” farming narrative established in the first chapter. As Hiraku continues to cultivate fields and raise livestock, the Great Tree Village faces an influx of new visitors and companions.
