Marvelous has reported that Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar has sold more than 500,000 units worldwide across physical and digital platforms. To mark the milestone, the publisher group that includes Marvelous Inc., Marvelous USA, and Marvelous Europe has released commemorative artwork (available to the left).
Launched on 27 August for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC via Steam, the release is based on the original handheld entry in the series, released internationally for the Nintendo DS as Harvest Moon DS: Grand Bazaar, while targeting a modern experience. Additions include upgraded visuals, new characters, a glider feature, quality of life improvements, an expanded story, and fully voiced character dialogue during story events, a first for the series’ event scenes.
Set in Zephyr Town, players aim to restore the once thriving Grand Bazaar by raising animals, harvesting crops, crafting specialties, and selling goods from their own stall. As the market grows, new shops and services are introduced to support farm upgrades and town development, with festivals and community interactions forming part of the seasonal routine.
