With the release of Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion set for 5 September 2025, Marvelous Europe has begun rolling out a series of gameplay system showcases, the latest of which focuses on customisation. Available for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam, the new title promises an expanded take on the franchise’s signature mech-based combat.
The spotlight in this new video falls on the Arsenal – powerful, pilotable suits that serve as a core of the game’s action. Each Arsenal can be outfitted with five pieces of armour and six weapon types, ranging from long-range and melee options to explosive ordnance. These components come with distinct attributes, encouraging players to tailor builds to their own tactical preferences.
Customisation is not limited to aesthetics. The parts players equip influence both playstyle and battlefield effectiveness. Components can be acquired through a variety of in-game systems: buying from vendors, salvaging from the environment, defeating enemies, or crafting items using data collected during missions. As players expand their gear inventory, they unlock new build combinations and combat strategies.
Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion continues the saga with the creative input of producer Kenichiro Tsukuda and mechanical designer Shoji Kawamori. Set in a sci-fi world dominated by conflict between humans and the mysterious Axiom, players take on the role of Outers, altered humans fighting for humanity’s survival.
Beyond solo play, the game features both cooperative and asynchronous multiplayer, allowing for shared progression and team-based engagements. Its environments are diverse, ranging from open plains to swamps and mountain regions. While players can traverse these in their Arsenal, there are moments where they’ll need to travel on foot—or even on horseback.
For those revisiting the original Daemon X Machina ahead of the sequel, a complete bundle of downloadable content is now available on Steam. This set compiles 57 pieces of add-on content and is priced at $41.21 USD or local equivalent, a 30% reduction on the cost of individual items. An additional 40% discount applies until 30 May.
