Sportvida CyberDash Brings Futuristic VR Running to Steam and Meta Next Month

The VR fitness game Sportvida CyberDash is set to launch on Steam and Meta platforms on 20 March 2025, offering players an interactive way to engage in high-energy workouts. A free demo will be available during Steam Next Fest from 24 February to 3 March 2025, giving players a preview of the fast-paced action.

Sportvida CyberDash seeks to combine physical movement with immersive VR gameplay, challenging players to dodge, slash, and smash obstacles while maintaining continuous forward momentum. With 30 levels across three themed maps, the game aims to provide those looking to get fit with VR, a unique, hopefully engaging way to exercise while navigating futuristic landscapes.

To cater to different fitness levels, Sportvida CyberDash offers two modes:

  • Lenient Mode – A more relaxed setting requiring smaller movements to progress.
  • Strict Mode – A high-intensity mode demanding full-arm swings for acceleration.

Players can track their fitness journey through the ‘Workout Records’ feature, which logs stats such as calories burned, steps taken, play time, and frequency. Additionally, a worldwide leaderboard allows for global competition, encouraging players to push their limits.

Promoted features of the game include:

  • Exercise Entertainment: Sportvida turns the tedium of working out into a high-tech visual adventure!
  • Fitness Tracking: Monitor your play frequency, calories burned, time spent, and more in ‘Workout Records.’
  • Continuous Sprint: The game’s forward movement mimics running while testing your reflexes against oncoming obstacles.
  • Satisfying Strikes: Ram through obstacles, slash blocks, and break through walls with powerful punches.
  • 30 Scalable Levels: Go from novice to expert across 30 heart-pumping levels.
  • Global Challenges: Compete against yourself to set a new personal best, or fight for a spot on the worldwide leaderboard!
  • Casual Play: If you want to play casually, you can lower the workout intensity with ‘Lenient Mode’ or use ‘Practice Mode’ to trial the mechanics on untimed maps.
