Bandai Namco Entertainment has officially released Guilty Gear -Strive- Nintendo Switch Edition, bringing the 2D fighting game from ARC SYSTEM WORKS to, you guessed it, the Nintendo Switch. This version of Guilty Gear -Strive- introduces Nintendo Switch players to its fast-paced combat, designed to cater to both newcomers and experienced players.
The game features an accessible combat system with depth for those seeking to master its mechanics. Rollback netcode has been implemented, seeking to provide smoother online gameplay with opponents worldwide.
The Nintendo Switch Edition includes a roster of 28 characters, the largest in the franchise’s history. This roster encompasses the base game’s characters as well as fighters introduced in the first three season passes. Additionally, Queen Dizzy, the latest addition to the roster, will be made available for free in February 2025. Future characters for Guilty Gear -Strive- will not be available for free but, as with other platforms, will be available as paid downloadable content.
