Following their successful PC port of 2018’s God of War, it should come as little surprise that a few years post-debut, God of War Ragnarök would also be brought across to a non-PlayStation platform.
Sony Interactive Entertainment has confirmed that the studio behind the last God of War PC port, Jetpack Interactive, will be back to work with Santa Monica Studio in bringing the game to the PC.
Being a PC port, you can bet there are a few PC-exclusive features being rolled out to take advantage of varying graphics cards and PC specs, including unlocked framerates, the option of “true 4K resolution”, full integration with NVIDIA RTX Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS), AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR), and Intel XeSS (Xe Super Sampling), support for super ultra-widescreen monitors and more. This port will also include the post-launch DLC God of War Ragnarök: Valhalla as standard.
God of War Ragnarök will launch on the PC starting 20 September 2024.
