Sony Interactive Entertainment has today shared two pieces of information revolving around their upcoming PC port of Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut – the introduction of a PlayStation Overlay which is likely to have a presence in many of their upcoming ports, and system specs for the game.
Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut will be the first PlayStation game on the PC to use the newly introduced PC overlay, which includes players’ Friends List, Trophies, Settings and Profile. This feature is available on Windows PCs and will be accessible from the in-game menu or, for keyboard players, by pressing the “SHIFT + F1” shortcut on their keyboard.
While playing the game, players can earn PlayStation Trophies just like on PlayStation consoles. Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut on PC shares the same Trophy set as the game on PlayStation 5 consoles. However if you are collecting your achievements on Steam or the Epic Games Store then don’t fret – as these will also be available to players.

To make use of features like Trophies, Friends list, and cross-play, players can sign in with their existing account for PlayStation Network or create a new account. The use of PlayStation overlay is optional for both the single-player experience and Legends mode.
Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut features the full original game, the Iki Island expansion and the cooperative online multiplayer ‘Legends’ mode, which features cross-play support with PS4 and PS5 versions. But… will your PC be able to handle the game? Nixxes, who have been responsible for porting the game across, have shared their suggested PC specs for Very Low, Medium, High and Very High quality modes – with the aim of “making the game run well on older hardware, as well as making it shine on high-end PCs.

Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut on PC is fully optimised for ultra-wide monitors, with support for 21:9 and 32:9 resolutions. Even 48:9 resolutions and triple monitor set-ups are supported. Additionally, support for NVIDIA DLSS 3, AMD FSR 3, Intel XeSS, NVIDIA DLAA, and AMD FSR 3 Native AA is also included, to hopefully boost frame rates and enhance visual quality with supported graphics cards.
