p1 Persona 4: The Animation Even Better Than I Had Hoped It Would Be

Over the last couple of days, a number of amendments have been made to Madman Entertainment’s Australian release of Persona 4: The Animation. These changes include:

  • The originally planned release date of December 2012 has been amended to January 2013.
    .
  • There will no longer be two volumes of the Blu-ray release, but instead three volumes each with a smaller number of episodes (Approx 8-9).
    .
  • The DVD release will remain unchanged, with two sets to be released when blu-ray collections 1 and 3 are released.
    .
  • Each blu-ray volume will set you back $39.95, each DVD volume will still cost $59.95. The Blu-ray editions overall are set to save you a total of 5 cents.
    .
  • Estimated release dates include: V1 – January, V2 – March V3 – May for Blu-ray, V1 – January V2 – May for DVD.
    .
  • While nothing has been formalized yet, there may be an artbox release with Volume 3 of the Blu-ray release. “Series ender boxes are like our thing these days – Slykura”
    .
  • English and Japanese audio for both releases seem to be confirmed according to Slykura through Madman Entertainment’s Official Forums

Original Question by Timesplitter 01

So are we getting both the english and japanese audio or is this TBC still?

Response by Slykura

Yes, we are getting Japanese audio 100% confirmed.
