An enhanced remake of the original Chaos;Head visual novel, the first entry in 5pb and Nitroplus’ first instalment in the Science Adventure franchise which continues today, Chaos;Head NoAH was originally due to be released on the Nintendo Switch starting 7 October 2022. While the release date has changed, now gamers will have the option of picking up this title on both Switch and PC.
Chaos;Head NoAH follows Takumi Nishijo, a second-year high school student on the verge of becoming a shut-in. “I have no interest in 3D.” He lives surrounded by his beautiful girl figures in his room. He lives in Shibuya, where there has been a series of bizarre serial murders known as “New Generation Madness” (aka NewGen). The culprit has yet to be caught and has been causing unrest on the internet and television. One day, a gruesome image that seemed to predict the next NewGen killing was sent by a mysterious figure called “Shogun.” The next day, on his way home from school, Takumi encounters a horrific crime scene, exactly as predicted. Before the corpse is a blood-soaked girl – Rimi Sakihata.
The PC release will be exclusively via Steam, making it a digital-only release for the platform. However, a special physical bundle featuring both Chaos;Head NoAH and Chaos;Child will be available physically in stores from 7 October 2022 as well. Both visual novels will be available remastered in 1080p.
