It seems like Steins;Gate on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita worked well for published PQube. The company have this evening confirmed that more from the science adventure series is headed our way, with them acquiring its sequel Steins;Gate 0. To be released on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, Steins;Gate 0 will be launched sometime in 2016.
Depicting an alternate world line unseen in the original visual novel (on the Beta Attractor Field), Steins;Gate 0 sees Okabe and the Future Gadget Lab members come together once again in a story centered around Artificial Intelligence and the creation of ‘Amadeus’ – a means of interacting with the stored memories of a fellow human being. While there are many returning characters, there are also a range of new faces who will make their Steins;Gate debut in this title.
Expect to hear more on Steins;Gate 0 in the coming months. You can read my review of the original visual novel HERE.
