Girlish Grimoire Littlewitch Romanesque Now Available on Steam

Following their 18+ eroge release of Girlish Grimoire Littlewitch Romanesque in late-December 2014, Jast USA have today confirmed that their all-ages friendly Steam release of the visual novel “Littlewitch Romanesque: Editio Regia” can now be purchased.

While the core storyline remains unchanged from the originally released version, some of the sex scenes have been replaced with “romance scenes” while others have been removed entirely. Given that the sexual content wasn’t heavy when compared to other visual novels, I don’t imagine there would have been too many rewrites involved in the all-ages localization. An example of edited images in the all-ages edition can be found HERE.

Until April 10th, Jast USA are offering a 10% discount on this title ($24.99 USD –> $22.49 USD). Seem interesting? You can read my review of the 18+ edition HERE.

Girlish Grimoire Littlewitch Romanesque Synopsis

Set in the magical world of Stella Mundo, Girlish Grimoire Littlewitch Romanesque tells the story of Domino, the youngest wizard ever to earn the rank of Archmage. Domino has just begun his study of the ancient Dark Tower, a treasure trove of lost magical knowledge that he hopes to rediscover. But there’s a catch. As a condition for allowing him to study the tower, the corrupt Council of Archmagi has assigned Domino two troublesome students — Aria, the daughter of a noble family, and Kaya, an orphan with an unusual heritage — and given him just three years to complete their training – a process that normally takes decades.

As Domino, you must manage your pupils’ schedule, teach them essential spells, increase their magical power and send them on quests to test their progress. Your time is limited, so use it wisely. Do you have what it takes to lead Aria and Kaya to greatness? Their fate is in your hands. An outstanding game with new kinds of gameplay for eroge and visual novel fans.

  1. Lol I always laugh at the term “All Ages” when it comes to VN’s, anyway wish them best of luck with their release on Steam. Hope this means we get more variety of Visual Novels on Steam cause of this.

    • You are right, I also wouldn’t call too many “all-ages” visual novels “all ages friendly”. But I suppose it offers a clear distinction between the VN’s which have sex and those that don’t.

To be honest, aside from the slight fanservice, I would consider this Steam version of Littlewitch Romanesque to be closer to being “all-ages” friendly than most.

      • Well at the very least I do imagine this port should sell well. Most of the sites that reviewed this game commented on how much better the game would be without the ero content, and some even instructed people to hold off for the all ages port. So I think the Steam port should do fairly well.
