A thief with an unusually long arm is the star of My Arms Are Longer Now, and the game now has a release date. Developer Toot Games and publisher Jackbox Games announced during the latest Nintendo Indie World Showcase that the 2D stealth comedy will launch on 11 March 2027 on PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S.
The game is a first for both companies. It is the debut title from Toot Games and marks the first time Jackbox Games, known for the Jackbox Party Pack and You Don’t Know Jack series, have taken on a publishing partner role.
Players take control of a highly skilled thief whose main asset is a very long, snake-like arm that others tend to find off-putting. That arm is ideal for the job, though, and the aim is to dodge security while grabbing anything that isn’t nailed down. Cash, bikes and even family pets are all up for grabs, and the game’s tongue-in-cheek pitch notes that players can steal candy from a baby, and probably slap the baby too.
Each level is built around environmental puzzles, which in practice means finding ways to steal as much as possible without anyone working out where the long arm actually starts. A constantly spiralling detective is also on the thief’s trail, so players need to get creative. That can mean sneaking the arm through vents and under seats, or putting a sock over the hand to disarm a security guard.
