System Era Softworks and Devolver Digital have released STARSEEKER: Astroneer Expeditions, a co-op space game now available in Early Access across PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2.
Set within the Astroneer universe, STARSEEKER tasks players with teaming up, equipping advanced technology, and exploring unfamiliar worlds. The game is built around co-op and PvE play, though it can also be tackled solo, with players able to complete objectives on their own or link up with others encountered on the station. Each action feeds into a shared goal, and progress unlocks further areas to explore over time.
At the centre of the experience is the ESS Starseeker, a large space station that functions as a persistent and evolving base. Here, players gather to plan expeditions, upgrade their equipment and abilities, and spend time with other adventurers.
System Era has indicated that STARSEEKER will receive regular updates throughout its Early Access run in the lead up to its “1.0” build. Planned additions include new regions, challenges, hazards, creatures, points of interest, craftable items, community events, and mechanics, all aimed at broadening the experience.
