Le Cartel and Devolver Digital have announced that Heave Ho 2, the follow-up to the party game Heave Ho, will arrive on PC, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on 16 July.
The game supports two to four players across co-op and versus modes, tasking players with grabbing, grappling and swinging through eight themed worlds that range from zero-gravity space settings to a kitchen environment. As in the original, players can choose to assist one another or work against each other.
The sequel introduces online co-op and versus play for two to four participants for the first time, sitting alongside the local couch multiplayer featured in the first game. The eight new worlds aim to deliver fresh mechanics and scenarios, and players will have access to a range of gadgets including pop guns, sauce bottles, levers, keys and drones.
On Nintendo Switch 2, Heave Ho 2 will support GameShare, which allows a single owner of the game to share it locally or online with up to three additional players.
