Ghost Master: Resurrection Released On PlayStation 5 And Nintendo Switch

Mechano Story Studio and Strategy First has launched Ghost Master: Resurrection for the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. This release is a remake of the original supernatural strategy title, rebuilt on a new engine with updated visuals and systems. The console version arrives as a bundle that includes the base game and four separate downloadable content packs. The physical edition features the Until Dawn, Ghost Adrift, Ghostly Defence, and Ashes & Abyss DLCs directly on the disc, allowing players to access the expanded content from the initial launch.

In Ghost Master: Resurrection, players manage an army of spirits to haunt the town of Gravenville. The game includes 11 reimagined locations, such as police stations, asylums, and sorority houses. Gameplay involves a mix of tactical haunting and puzzle-solving, where players must choose from over a dozen ghost types to complete missions with multiple branching paths.

The updated version includes updated narrative elements and refined mechanics intended to deepen the strategy of the haunting sessions. Players must strategically deploy ghosts with specific powers to effectively scare humans and uncover hidden content within the various levels.

Evgenii from Mechano Story Studio explained that the goal of the remake was to preserve the core appeal of the original while introducing modern improvements:

Ghost Master has always been a unique game, blending strategy, humour, and supernatural chaos in a way players still talk about years later. With Ghost Master: Resurrection, we wanted to respect everything fans loved about the original while updating and adding more surprises for modern platforms and audiences.

Strategy First Director Emanuel Wall spoke about the significance of bringing the classic back for a contemporary audience:

The original Ghost Master built an incredibly passionate fanbase. Ghost Master: Resurrection brings that cult classic back to life with modern technology, new content, and a haunting experience ready for a whole new generation of players.
