SEGA has announced the release of a new free content update for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, introducing Yakuza: Like a Dragon‘s protagonist Ichiban Kasuga as a playable racer.
Available now across all platforms, the Ichiban Content Drop allows players to hit the track as the Hero of Yokohama himself. The update includes Ichiban as a new playable character, his custom vehicle the Dragon Brave, and a selection of themed emotes and sound effects. Unfortunately, there is no race track available for this DLC, so no tearing up the streets of Kamurocho or Hawaii this time around.
Players who already own Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch will automatically receive the new content upon updating their game to the latest version.
