During its recent showcase during the Wholesome Direct livestream, Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar received a fresh trailer, offering fans a closer look at what life in Zephyr Town may look like for players. Scheduled for release on 27 August 2025, this upcoming entry in the long-running farming and life simulation series will be available on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and Windows PC via Steam.
The newly released trailer, introduced by Mayor Felix, serves as a guided tour through Zephyr Town’s day-to-day life. Players can look forward to cultivating crops, caring for animals, and engaging with the townspeople. A key feature is the bustling weekly bazaar, where local sprites lend a hand in selling goods. The trailer emphasises the laid-back rhythm of the game, with activities ranging from solo fishing trips to community events.
Zephyr Town itself was once home to a globally renowned marketplace, though it has since fallen into decline. As the newest resident, players are tasked with revitalising the bazaar – raising livestock, producing goods, and expanding their stall to draw new customers and unlock fresh opportunities. As the town recovers, players will also be able to establish a family and contribute further to the community’s renewal.
Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar is inspired by the original handheld game of the same name, and this new version aims to expand on its predecessor in multiple ways. Enhancements include a larger, more dynamic world, updated visuals, an extended narrative, and – for the first time in the series – full voice acting in story sequences. Players will also be able to harness Zephyr Town’s trademark wind, which can assist in both travel and farming tasks.
