A festive new chapter arrives in Infinity Nikki on 13 June 2025, as the game welcomes its Version 1.6 update titled Playful Season. Transforming the region of Stoneville into a celebration of youthful joy and supportive community spirit, the update introduces a story-driven adventure and a variety of seasonal attractions for players to enjoy.
The centrepiece of this update is a new main story chapter, which follows Nikki and her feline companion Momo as they encounter a cursed apprentice fairy. To aid the troubled character, Nikki adopts a fairy form and enters a whimsical, storybook-inspired world filled with visual charm and emotional depth. Together with Momo, she must confront magical creatures and overcome trials that challenge their bravery and bond. The narrative focuses on themes of teamwork, kindness, and the strength found in helping others.
Accompanying this new tale are three interactive festival attractions that reinforce the update’s playful theme. One allows players to soar along a sky path where characters sprout wings and float effortlessly—perfect for capturing striking in-game moments. Another attraction is a large, pumpkin-shaped ride that sends players spinning along elevated rails in a chaotic but endearing motion. The third is the Beretsant Trampoline, styled after a portly chicken with a painted hat, which squawks differently depending on where it’s bounced—adding a touch of unpredictability and humour.
Players who enjoy puzzle-solving will find seven themed maze challenges to navigate. Each maze encourages exploration and observation, requiring players to find petrified animals to progress. Two new in-game furnishings also seek to offer nostalgic and whimsical flourishes to players’ custom spaces. A gently swaying rocking horse recalls moments of childlike wonder, while a decorative potion cauldron produces colourful smoke when filled with ingredients – contributing to the magical aesthetic of the season.
New fashion items also play a central role in Playful Season, with five ability-enhancing outfits introduced. The five-star outfit, Enchanted Encounter, stands out for its unique ability to cleanse and levitate nearby animals, creating a striking visual spectacle. Among the new four-star outfits is the Comic-Style Prince Outfit, which adds a rose-filled romantic background effect, and the Cloud-Summoning Outfit, which transforms the sky into a canvas of drifting clouds. Two limited-time outfits from past seasons – one five-star and one four-star – will also return for a short time.
