Team Asobi has announced that Astro Bot will receive a new content update on 10 July 2025 at 11pm AEST, expanding the game’s universe with five additional levels under the Vicious Void Galaxy banner. This brings the total level count in the platformer to over 90.
The newly added stages, titled: Twin-Frog Trouble, Suck It Up, Handhold Havoc, High Inflation, and a fifth surprise level, promise to deliver fresh challenges. According to the development team, players can expect difficulty in line with previous updates, requiring precision and skill to navigate.
In addition to the new gameplay content, players will encounter a fresh set of Special Bots. While details remain under wraps, Team Asobi has teased a “revengeful newcomer” joining the roster. As with past updates, these additions will be available at no extra cost to players.
Beyond the in-game content, Sony Interactive Entertainment is also preparing to release an updated version of the Astro Bot Limited Edition DualSense wireless controller. Building on the popularity of the original design, this new edition will feature a revised touchpad and will launch later in the year. More details are expected in the coming months.
