Infold Games is celebrating the first anniversary of their 3D romance game Love and Deepspace with the launch of Version 3.0: Cosmic Encounters Pt. 2, a major update introducing new features, gameplay enhancements, and story content. Central to this update is the return of Caleb, a childhood friend and skilled fighter pilot, as a main love interest. His story unfolds in Chapters 11 and 12, taking players to the floating island of Skyhaven to investigate a mysterious explosion and the reappearance of the Farspace Fleet.
The update also brings several gameplay improvements. The in-game photobooth now includes interactive gazes, customizable poses, advanced lighting effects, video recording, and template-sharing options. Players can also face the Abyssal Chaos, a haunting challenge set in an abandoned sanatorium filled with puzzles, secrets, and multiple endings.
The newly introduced “Remind Me” system aims to offer a distinctive way to enhance player immersion by integrating real-life dynamics into the gameplay experience. This feature allows players to track a range of personal moments, from daily tasks to significant milestones, ensuring these events are seamlessly woven into the narrative. By providing tailored reminders, the system enables in-game love interests to respond uniquely and attentively to the player’s activities and timelines, creating a more personalised interaction. This approach seeks to foster a sense of intimacy and realism, enriching the emotional depth of in-game relationships and making interactions feel more authentic and engaging.
From 22 January to 7 February 2025, players can access new customization options through Illusio, which allows redesigning and reliving Kindled 5-Star Memories. The update also features Love and Deepspace’s first Chinese theme song, “Cosmic Encounter,” performed by Wu Bixia.
