NEXON has released their next update for the English localised release of RPG action strategy game, Blue Archive. The new content, titled Main Story: Vol. 1 Foreclosure Task Force Chapter 3, “Traces of a Dream” – Part 5, is now live and brings new additions to the game – including story events, characters and more. Players will join the Foreclosure Task Group in their mission to protect their school from a looming threat while exploring new events, recruitments, a mini-game, and more.
Some of the new offerings as part of this update include:
Fest Recruitment Event
The Fest Recruitment event, which began on 23 January, doubles the chances of acquiring a 3★ student. Players can also collect Recruitment Points to selectively acquire Pick-Up students, with points converting to Keystone Pieces after the event ends on 29 January at 5:59 PM PT.
Featured 3★ students include:
Hoshino (Armed): Versatile with Offensive and Defensive stances, offering adaptable abilities like area damage or shielding and increased ATK.
Shiroko*Terror: Summons a Drone that enhances her attacks and increases Crit stats, with a self-damage feature that does not lead to retreat.
Mika (Rerunning): Deals high damage to single enemies, with damage scaling based on the target’s HP.
Student Recruitment Event
Starting 29 January at 6:00 PM PT, players can recruit two swimsuit versions of students, Saori (3★) and Hiyori (3★). Saori deals fan-shaped area damage with a chilling effect, while Hiyori uses precise multi-bullet attacks with additional effects when her EX Charge Gauge is active. This event runs until 7 February 2025.
‘Sheside outside’ Story Event
Launched on 23 January, this event introduces a swimsuit version of Atsuko (1★) who restores HP to an ally. Players can unlock her by completing the ‘Beachside Road’ story.
Additional rewards, including Credit Points and Artifacts, are available for clearing quests. The event also debuts the Hi-Lo Ha-Lo mini-game, a tower defense game unlocked after completing Story – 11: “Quiet Beach at Sunrise.”
The event concludes on 7 February 2025.
100-Free Recruitment Event
From 29 January at 6:00 PM PTuntil 7 February at 5:59 PM PT, players can earn up to 100 free recruitments by logging in throughout the event. 10 free summons will be offered each day during the period.
