Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe has announced Clive Rosfield, the protagonist of Final Fantasy XVI, as the first guest character to join the Tekken 8 roster. Clive will become available to Playable Character Year 1 Pass holders with 72-hour early access starting 16 December 2024, with his official release set for 19 December. This marks the fourth downloadable character added to Tekken 8 since its January 2024 launch.
Alongside Clive, players will gain access to the new PHOENIX GATE battle stage, a significant location from Final Fantasy XVI. The stage’s design reflects key events in Clive’s journey, featuring destruction and effects inspired by the Eikons. Both the character and stage are included in the Deluxe, Ultimate Edition, or Deluxe Edition Upgrade Pack, which contains the Playable Character Year 1 Pass. They can also be purchased separately or as a bundle.
