This latest entry in the Mafia franchise tells a standalone story, focusing on the origins of organized crime through a narrative-driven experience with a new cast of characters.
Set in the Mafia universe, Mafia: The Old Country introduces Enzo, a young man seeking a better life after surviving years of harsh labor in Sicily’s sulfur mines. Through a twist of fate, Enzo joins the Torrisi crime family, swearing an oath to their code of honor. The story delves into the sacrifices required to survive and thrive in a world defined by vendettas, protection rackets, and the violent rise of organized crime.
The game aims to deliver a linear, cinematic approach, immersing players in an era where stiletto blades, lupara sawed-off shotguns, and turn-of-the-century motorcars shaped the tools and tactics of the criminal world.
