Developer Magic Rain Studios has unveiled a new trailer for their whimsical platformer, ILA: A Frosty Glide, during The MIX Fall Showcase. The game, which follows the journey of a young witch-in-training, is set to launch on PC via Steam in the future. A Kickstarter campaign to support its development will also begin soon – with more details to be shared soon.
Set on a remote magical island, ILA: A Frosty Glide invites players to join the titular character, ILA on her quest to find her lost cat, Coco. The game sets out to combine exploration of Scandinavian-inspired landscapes with platforming and magical flight mechanics. Players can soar across snowy mountains, enchanted forests, and hidden pathways, while collecting items to enhance ILA’s flying abilities and magical skills. Customization is also set to be a central feature of the game, with options to personalise ILA’s hats, capes, and skatebrooms.
