CD PROJEKT RED has announced that Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition will be released natively on Apple Silicon Macs, including models like the new iMac, Mac mini, and MacBook Pro equipped with the M4 family of chips. Set to launch early next year, the game has been optimised to leverage Apple Silicon and Metal technologies, aiming to deliver Night City to Mac users natively for the first time.
The Ultimate Edition will support features such as path tracing, frame generation, and Spatial Audio. Available for purchase on the Mac App Store and Steam, the release will also allow existing Steam PC owners to access the Mac version without additional cost.
