Youth video game publisher/developer Outright Games and Dr. Seuss Enterprises have launched a special Holiday Edition of their 2023 title, The Grinch: Christmas Adventures. This physical update is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Each edition includes four collectible postcards designed to capture the festive spirit.
The postcards feature black and white pencil-style artwork with red highlights, inspired by Dr. Seuss’ original How The Grinch Stole Christmas! illustrations. Each depicts key scenes from the classic story, including:
- The Grinch, disguised as Santa, fooling Cindy Lou Who as he takes her Christmas tree.
- The moment The Grinch ties antlers to his dog Max at the start of his scheme.
- The Grinch plotting to steal presents, with his signature grin and bright red zigzags.
- A Who-ville home decked out for Christmas, with The Grinch sneaking towards the stockings.
In The Grinch: Christmas Adventures, players navigate a 2D platformer in both single-player and local co-op modes. Playing as The Grinch and Max, they travel through The Grinch’s cave, the countryside, and Who-ville, collecting puzzle pieces to unlock new abilities like a Santa suit disguise, a snowboard, and a candy-cane lasso as they attempt to ruin Christmas.
