Expanding the story of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, Ubisoft has released the final story DLC for the game, titled “Mask of Darkness” on all platforms. This expansion introduces a new chapter to Sargon’s story, offering players a darker and more challenging experience in the Metroidvania-inspired game.
In “Mask of Darkness”, Sargon faces Radjen, an assassination specialist from the Immortals, who traps him in her Mind Palace—a dimension filled with dark magic, surreal landscapes, and deadly challenges. As Sargon fights to escape, players will explore four new biomes, navigate ten new traversal obstacles, and face six new enemy types, along with three major boss battles. To aid in combat, the expansion introduces three new Amulets that grant additional abilities.
The “Mask of Darkness” DLC is available as a standalone purchase for AUD$7.45 (or local equivalent). It is also included in the Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown Complete Edition, priced at AUD$74.95, which includes the base game, additional outfits for Sargon, amulets, and more. A Complete Upgrade Pack is also available for existing players at AUD$14.95. Ubisoft+ subscribers will automatically be upgraded to the Complete Edition, and in celebration of the 35th anniversary of the Prince of Persia franchise, a free Warrior Within outfit will be released for all players soon.
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown can be purchased now for the PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch
