The latest Pokémon Trading Card Game expansion has arrived. The Pokémon Company International has released Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution – Delta Reign, which is now available at participating retailers worldwide.
The set features Mega Evolution Pokémon ex including Mega Rayquaza ex, Mega Golurk ex, Mega Malamar ex and Mega Golisopod ex, all with drop rates to keep them rare. It also introduces a new mechanic to the game called Legendary Stadiums. These are made by combining two Stadium cards, which together reveal an extended piece of artwork and open up new strategies. Any booster pack that contains a Legendary Stadium includes both halves needed to use it.
Cards from Mega Evolution – Delta Reign can be found in booster packs, Elite Trainer Boxes and various collections from today. That said, anyone hoping to grab some on launch day may need a bit of luck. With scalpers continuing to snap up high-value card products as soon as they hit shelves, stock of new Pokémon TCG releases can disappear quickly, if they ever make it onto shelves, so collectors may want to get in early or keep a close eye on their local retailers.
Players who prefer to battle digitally can also get involved through Pokémon TCG Live. The Mega Evolution – Delta Reign Battle Pass offers a deck featuring Mega Rayquaza ex, with a second deck featuring Mega Malamar ex unlocked through further play.
