Infold Games has announced that the Infinity Nikki Global Closed Beta will take place from October 8 through October 22, 2024, for PC, iOS, and Android platforms. Players interested in participating can sign up by completing a survey, with details for a PlayStation 5 beta to be shared at a later date.
Infinity Nikki marks the fifth entry in the Nikki series, known for its dress-up gameplay. This latest installment is the first to introduce open-world exploration, bringing Nikki and her companion Momo to consoles and PC for the first time. Directed by Kentaro Tominaga, known for his work on Breath of the Wild, the game already has over 15 million pre-registrations across platforms.
The Nikki series has evolved over its 12-year history, and Infinity Nikki seeks to blend its signature dress-up mechanics with open-world adventure. Players will explore the world of Miraland, using outfits that grant unique abilities to overcome puzzles, traverse landscapes, and uncover secrets. The closed beta will offer early access to these features, as participants will be the among the first to experience floating, gliding, and platforming throughout the world.
Additional information about the gameplay of Infinity Nikki is set to be unveiled later during the TGS by Kentaro Tominaga and the development team.
Infinity Nikki will officially launch later this year on PC, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android.
