FANTASIAN Neo Dimension to Launch on Multiple Platforms This December

During the PlayStation State of Play livestream, Square Enix announced the upcoming release of FANTASIAN Neo Dimension on 5 December 2024. The game will be available physically and digitally for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5, and digitally for PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. This announcement was made by the game’s producer and Final Fantasy creator, Hironobu Sakaguchi, who also revealed a new trailer to accompany the news.

FANTASIAN Neo Dimension marks the return of both Hironobu Sakaguchi and composer Nobuo Uematsu, offering an enhanced version of the original FANTASIAN, which was first released on Apple Arcade in 2021. This new version will introduce additional features, including both English and Japanese voiceovers, an additional difficulty mode, and 4K support for PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC versions.

In the game, players will assume the role of Leo as he embarks on a journey to recover his lost memories and solve the mystery behind a mechanical infection threatening his world. With its modern twist on the classic turn-based battle system, FANTASIAN Neo Dimension introduces new strategic elements to the gameplay. Players will also explore a multi-dimensional universe brought to life with over 150 hand-crafted diorama settings.

FANTASIAN Neo Dimension launches on 5 December 2024 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Players who pre-order the game will receive a special in-game bonus item, the Vibran Secret Stone, which provides an experience boost to characters when equipped.
