Bethesda Game Studios has released an in-depth trailer for Shattered Space, the first major story expansion for Starfield. The new 9-minute video gives fans a detailed look at the upcoming content, which will launch on 1 October 2024 for Xbox Series X | S and PC versions of the game.
A new expansion to the base game, Shattered Space will see players will explore the homeworld of House Va’ruun, a secretive faction on the verge of collapse. As players arrive on their hidden planet, they are viewed by some as a divine figure, tasked with helping restore order to the followers of the Great Serpent. The expansion introduces a fully handcrafted location and invites players to uncover the mysteries of this isolated world.
Players who own the Premium or Constellation Editions of Starfield will receive Shattered Space as part of their original purchase. Those with the base edition can access the expansion by purchasing the Premium Upgrade, which also includes a Digital Art Book, Original Soundtrack, 1,000 Creation Credits, and the Constellation Skin pack.
