Having now released their farming simulation game SunnySide, developer RainyGames has rolled out their first major quality of life update, now available for the PC. The update introduces new features catering to various playstyles, from farming enthusiasts to dungeon explorers.
For players who prefer activities such as interior decorating, the update provides a charming Shack to kickstart interior design projects earlier in the game. Philip, the retired architect, will assist players by gifting them blueprints for a Starter House and the plans for a once-popular teahouse on the farm.
The update also benefits players who enjoy town life. Sunnyside vendors now offer extended opening hours, making it easier for players to purchase seeds and farm goods.
Explorers and adventurers will be able to take advantage of an updated save feature in the caves. If players fall asleep during their exploration, their progress will be saved, allowing them to resume their adventure without losing progress.
SunnySide, inspired by games like Persona and Animal Crossing, aims to provide a modern twist on the classic farming and life simulation genre. It is now available to purchase on the PC, published by Maximum Games and developed by RainyGames. It is due for release on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S starting 16 August 2024.
