The Quintessential Quintuplets Duology Coming to Switch, PlayStation and PC Next Week

In a bit of a last-minute announcement, Spike Chunsoft has today confirmed that they will be bringing the duology of games in The Quintessential Quintuplets franchise – The Quintessential Quintuplets – Memories of a Quintessential Summer and The Quintessential Quintuplets – Five Memories Spent With You to the Nintendo Switch via the Nintendo eShop, PlayStation 4 via the PlayStation Store and PC via Steam on 23 May 2024 as digital download exclusives. These will be available as either standalone games, or as part of a double pack.

More about both games, which are each based on the original manga written by Negi Haruba between 2017 and 2020, can be found below:

The Quintessential Quintuplets – Memories of a Quintessential Summer

It’s summer vacation! Futaro and his younger sister Raiha have been invited to the quintuplets’ private island. But a sudden storm turns what was supposed to be a three-day, two-night vacation into two weeks of survival! What fate awaits in this edge-of-your-seat island adventure with the quintuplets?

  • Play as Futaro and progress through the story via point-and-click visual novel-style gameplay.
  • Socialize with quintuplets via the story events and decisions to strengthen your friendship in this light-hearted romantic comedy.
  • With over 15 different endings, the choices you make will matter, and the overall bond between the quintuplets will affect the ending.

The Quintessential Quintuplets – Five Memories Spent With You

Ichika Nakano, Nino Nakano, Miku Nakano, Yotsuba Nakano, and Itsuki Nakano are going on a graduation trip to Okinawa with protagonist Futaro Uesugi and his younger sister Raiha. In preparation for a long-distance relationship after graduation, Futaro wants to restate his feelings to the girl he confessed to. His goal is to kiss her during a graduation trip. What will become of their love?

The game scenario is totally new, allowing players to confess their feelings to any of the quintuplets. The game also features the color setting of Okinawa, along with original illustrations and other features that express the allure of a graduation trip!

  • Similar to the last installment, play as Futaro and progress through the story via point-and-click visual novel-style gameplay.
  • Socialize with quintuplets via the story events and decisions to strengthen your friendship in this light-hearted romantic comedy.
  • This installment features an all-new activity schedule mechanic in which you manage the activities the quintuplets do. You can have them study, cook, put them in charge of getting the ingredients around the island, or rest. In addition to this mechanic, the characters themselves now have parameters such as academic ability, cooking skill, and ingredients they excel at obtaining.
  • With over 14 different endings, the choices you make will matter. The overall bond between your friends, as well as the parameter mechanic introduced in this installment, will affect the ending.
