Bandai Namco Europe has recently unveiled their first gameplay trailer for Unknown 9: Awakening, a narrative action-adventure game developed by Reflector Entertainment and published by themselves. Scheduled for release this coming summer season, the game will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
Unknown 9: Awakening introduces players to Haroona, a Quaestor with the unique ability to access the Fold, a mysterious dimension interwoven with our own. The storyline revolves around Haroona’s journey to uncover potent hidden knowledge, harnessing her connection to the Fold to bring its powers into our world. However, Haroona’s abilities attract attention from the Ascendants — a faction of the secret group known as the Leap Year Society, with their own agenda to utilize the Fold’s capabilities to alter the course of human history.
As Haroona, players will navigate a journey across the globe, confronting the consequences of her past. As this quest unfolds, players will choose whether to ambush opponents from the shadows or fight by stepping into their enemies to control them, dodge bullets, shield attacks, hurl energy, and devise creative combat combinations to customize their playstyle.

Anya Chalotra, known for her roles in portraying strong female characters, voices Haroona, the game’s main protagonist.
