In a dual-trailer release for Spike Chunsoft and Bandai Namco Entertainment’s upcoming action battle game DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO, new information was shared around both gameplay and a new assortment of playable characters to be available in the latest video game offering for the franchise.
Jun Furutani, the producer of Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO, first shared insights on the game’s enhanced mechanics. This iteration sets out to provide gameplay elements adapted from the action-packed combat offered by the wider Dragon Ball Z franchise. The hope? To make “battles even more spectacular, faster, impressive and authentic to the anime”. The game introduces features such as “Skill Count,” “Revenge Counter,” and “Vanishing Assaults”, offering players new counterattack options and strategic depth in combat.
The second trailer, available above, reveals the inclusion of 11 additional characters to the game’s lineup, with a focus on the theme of Speed vs Power. These confirmed characters include:
